Exactly how high is high, and how long has the filter been running? Veggie help is a good idea (I certainly have some), but even a perfect TT takes time to mature. What size is the TT, what flowrate do you have going through it, and what size is your pond?
I used Viresco which I got throught the mail from the UK. It worked a treat.
