i currently have trickle tower filled with bio balls. However, nitrates are still high. any other way to reduce nitrates?

Water changes, and through a mass planting of aquatic and semi-aquatic plants in a large bog garden/vegetation filter area.

Exactly how high is high, and how long has the filter been running? Veggie help is a good idea (I certainly have someWink), but even a perfect TT takes time to mature. What size is the TT, what flowrate do you have going through it, and what size is your pond?

It takes 2 to 3 months before the TT kicks in.

I used Viresco which I got throught the mail from the UK. It worked a treat.
