silt and slude problem Can't Post

can any1 help. iv had a green water algee problem for years and have recently built my own 80ltre bio filter, iv seen a massivive improvement in just 3 weeks n the water is crystal clear ,iv noticed on the shelves and bottom thers lots of silt n sludge which when disturbed creates clouds of floating debre n muck which soon makes the water dirty again is there anything i can do to sort this problem?

CrazyDead algae and dirt, other stuff as well. I have the same stuff. DH got me a pond vac, WOW helps so much. That darn stuff is so fine have to vac carefully so's not to disturb it as I go. Then I clean the filters and let them do there job. Cant seem to ever get rid of it compleatly. Bottom drain is not an option for me but it would probly solve this delema for us.Unsure can ya see it ?
