As pond visit to Dr. Zhang and Raymond Yew’s house cannot be materialized for some reason or other, our former chairman Mr. Chia Kang Seng, had indly agreed to a pond visit to his bungalow.

Mohan, Thanks for the info. Mr Chia's pond in over 100tons and 6 feet deep. It also has a vewing deck with Glass floor panels. This deck sits on a concrete and timber column that is in the pond.

The growth rate of his kois is very impressive.
I am particulary interested to see the Hoshikin koi's quality bcos there were very affordable kois. This may dispell the belief that affordable kois may not have the growth and quality...

It will also be nice to see how the the Taiwan bred kois turn out.

We may come out wiser from this trip.Wink As usual, we can count on you to provide us a report with lots of pictures for those of us here who may not be able to join. See you there..Sly
