NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 8th Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held as follows:-

AGENDA
:
  1. To receive the Committee’s report on the working and activities of the Club during the year 2006
  2. To receive the Treasurer’s report and adopt the audited accounts of the Club for the year ended Dec 31st 2005
  3. Any oher matters

TIME
:
2:00 pm


12:00 pm- Buffet Lunch


Meeting Room: PAHLAWAN 5 – (Level 5)
Buffet Lunch : Oceania Restaurant – Lobby mezzanine level.
Registration: members shall register either at the lobby area leading to Oceania Restaurant before lunch or at the Pahlawan 5 Room after lunch

Hi there,

How do I join the Malaysia koi club? I currently have about 10 koi (about 25-35cm) in an 8,000 liter pond. Would like to learn more about the hobby. Thanks.

Thanks Thiamhwa.

I will definitely get in touch with them. I've been keeping koi (mostly local) for the past 15 years in an outdoor pond. Recently, I renovated my pond and replaced the local kois with some Japanese ones. My pond currently has 8 tons of water and about 10 fish such as sanke, showa, shiro utsuri, kohaku, shusui. They all seem to be doing fine. Would like to hear from you and any other folks here on some tips for keeping healthy koi. How long have you been keeping koi and what are your top tips for keeping them healthy? Many thanks and a happy new year.

Hi Taiko,

I think you should contact the Koi Club whether you may register at the AGM to be held at the Summit Hotel this
coming Sunday. If you can't make it for the AGM, then I would advise you to call them and follow up for the
Registration Form.
Once you are a member, please join in their regular hobbyist's pond visits. From these visits, you will learn and
meet up with many other senior hobbyists who will gladly share with you knowledges on good koi keeping
skills. Utimately, there are no short cuts in this hobby for keeping healthy koi except a lots of hardwork and
sweat.
BTW, if you have any other questions beside Koi Club matters , I think you should post it into the appropriate
column section in this Forum so that others can reply accordingly. Thank you and Wishing You A Very Happy New Year too.

Thiamwah, Thanks for helping out with a reply to Taiko,
Our apologies for not replying your post earlier due to the holidays.
I have sent a PM to Taiko and he has submitted his application form to join as a new member.

We definitely welcome more hobbysit to join the club. For hobbyist who are keen to join I have attached the membership application form for you to download. The one time entrance fee is RM100 and the annual subscription fee is Rm120.

Pls complete the form and fax it to to the club before the Jan 7th for approval. You may join the Annual General meeting upon making the payment before the commencement of the AGM. Pls issue cheque to ZNA Malaysia koi fish club, Kuala Lumpur. If you have queries pls call me at 0162715577
