Pond visit to Mr.Leong Kok Hoong’s House. Can't Post

Pond visit to Mr.Leong Kok Hoong’s House.

As I have said earlier, pond visits are going crazy. Yes, even before we can complete one visit, there is already a request for another. This time we will be visiting Leong Kok Hoong and Susan Ku’s Pond – A husband and wife combination – Both are ardent hobbyist. If I am not mistaken the couple are the winners in the First koi Rearing and selection competition organized by our club.

Date – 6th May 2007
Time – 11.30a.m
Leong Kok Hoong’s H/P No. 012-2032918

Address: 13, Jalan Bayu 8,

Towkay, the map is not very legible and kind of confusing lah. Since most people will know the Mines shopping center or mines resort, maybe you shud tell leong to draw a simplified map using that as a landmark and direct from there. Also pls note that the security is very strict. so it is better to call the host as you reach the guard house.

For those who have not been to Gita Bayu, you will be overawed by the beauty of the place.. really resort like and trees everywhere.
Cheers

Hi Hwong,

I agreed with you that Gita Bayu is a very lovely G&G Residential Resort place to visit. For those who had planned
to visit Mr. Leong's pond, I would also suggest that they should also spend some time visiting the Gita Bayu's
Clubhouse cum swimming pool which was desiged by a Thai Architect. This clubhouse building has been
published in our local Majallah Akitek magazine and if I am not mistaken, it has also been awarded with
architectural prizes for outstanding building a few years ago. BTW, for your information, photography
is not permitted at the Clubhouse vicinity.

As you have mentioned, the security there is very strict and I hope Mr. Leong will make the necessary
arrangements with the Guard House for entry clearance access by visiting hobbyists.

Best Regards,
Thiam Hwa

Hi Lee,

Very clever of you to use Google Earth as a navigation map for direction to Mr. Leong's pond visit.
I think by now everybody should have no problem finding their way there.
BTW, will you be able to make it back from Cambodia for the pond visit? If you do, I will
hope to see you there as well. Thank you.

Best Regards,
Thiam Hwa

Hi Wong,

Sorry for the late response due to busy work schedule.

I hope the Map by Lee is ok.Normally in gated community if the resident informs the guard of the any impending functions, there will be no hassle.

I am sure Leong will do that – In any event I will speak to him.

Special Thanks to Thiamwa and Lee for helping out.

See you at Leong’s House.

Dear members,

As per the club's request, Mr Leong was kind enough to endow us with a more lucid map to his residence.

See you all at Mr & Mrs Leong’s place..

Cheers.

Dear Members,

The visit to Dr.Zhang's house was superb and I think the visit to Mr & Mrs. Leong’s house will be in the same token if not better.

As usual, you are welcome with your family. You can confirm here or call Ms.Lata.-61570377.

Hi guys

Thanks Lee for the google earth satellite map. I think I can see my house on the extreme right. If zoom down further you may see me cleaning the pond filter! This is my first time to write in this forum. Took me some time to locate this thread.

Anyway do not worry too much about the security. I will inform the guard house. All you got to do at the guard house is to mention my name and that you are from the Koi Club. The guard will call me if not sure. This should be the simplest manner. Normally I need to submit a list of car numbers and name of drivers but in this case I will ensure that the security waive this requirement.

Everybody plus family is welcome. The club house as mentioned is worth a visit too. Called Kebun Mimpi with a man-made lake.

Anybody with directions problem do call me tel 012-2032918.

regards
