Add New Koi and Suddently All my Koi Swim on it's side. Can't Post

Help, 3 Days ago I add 5 New Koi. And yesterday, suddently almost all of my Koi swim on it's side and looks lazy and sometimes went up gasping for air. I havent wash my pond and filters for almost 6 months. The water is a bit greenie. Some of the sick Koi has died. But some still healthy. So what could I do to threat it?

I dont want them to die because I've been keeping them for 6 years and thats a long time. Please Help!! U can e-mail me at dalozt@hotmail.com.

Thanx a lot...

You mentioned they were gasping for air, do you have any air in your pond and filters???

Like Walt said, we need your water parameters asap. Also when you do the partial water change DON'T forget to add dechlorinatorSmile

Hello, Judging from the fact that your water is green, is a good indication that there is an issue with your filtration! Do you have bio filtration? Please explaine, Also how big is your pond, and how big are your koi new and old ones! There also seems to be an issue with oxygen, so these things bring me to suspect the following# 1 insufficient filtration ( bio) and insufficient oxygen. this would explaine the sudden GASPING ,this being brought on by the new ones, and the lack of oxygen, thus the deaths! If this is the problem, then ad more oxygen and at the same time ad more bio media to your filters, that is if you have bio filters! In all cases there could be many more reasons for your problems, but these would be the simpilest ones to check and fix , we need more info plus a photo would help.
