Dear segala Your first suspect should be your water quality. Check the ammonia levels nitirite and nitrates, High ammonia and nitrites will irritate the fish skin and course red blotches sores and skin conditions that will be targets for secondary infections. Your next job after checking the water is to check your filters and clean out the machanical parts only leave the biological parts well alone. Then if you have plants or rocks in the pond remove them and clean the wiaste. If you have bottom drains you will not have much mulm in the bottom of your pond if you dont have them you'll need a fine net or a pond vac. Never empty your pond and refill, but do partual water changes. Cut down on the amount of food you feed them. Asd i suspect your most likey course of secondary infection will be anarobic bacteria.
