Bruising on Cha goi Can't Post

Hi. I have a cha goi that has got a suspicious redish bruise on the top of its back about the size of a twenty pence piece. Its been there for a week, not got any worse or better. The fish it self is a little placid compared to how it was before the bruise appeared. There appears to be no scale damage & no ulcers are forming. Water parameters are excellent. Should i just be patient or should i be treating either the fish or the pond as a whole.
Kind Regards Angela

Re: [angsan] Bruising on Cha goi [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi,

From what I have learned just this morning......this may be bruising from the male koi knocking his nose against her. A result of vigorous "play" trying to spawn. This is just a "maybe" but it's my best guess.
