Koi growth/breeding hormone/endorfin/etc.

I have recently read articles relative to Koi secreation of enzynes/endorfins/hormones/??..(something!) that is done when there are too many Koi in a pond.... Primarly, I understand that changing about 5/10% of the water on a weekly basis is to control the nitrate levels of the pond . . . I would assume that this also would aid in the 'dumping' of the aforementioned enzynes/etc which are responsible for reduced growth/etc . . . Is there a product on the market that is specificly directly toward the control of this situation...or is the current solution to the situation the weekly 'dumping' of the pond water... (Understand that the real solution is to increase the size of the pond!!!) Additionally, is there a product on the market that aids in the breeding process? Thanks, Jim
