Hi, One of my female koi has a growth or something on its nose..I will try to get a picture and post again..I just noticed it this morning..anyone heard of this before? It really looks like a growth, but not an open sore of any sort... thanks Mookey
hi mookey... it is a tumor....the tumor will grow and will cover up the mouth slowly....it is dangerous.it can cause death.i had one sanke with the same problem....(already passed away).i think you have to bowled her up and inspect it properly...it is better to take her to koi dealer and show them,maybe they got idea or experience to handle her...
or it could be a wart like what kids get when you put them in play school. Thats totally benign, give the fish a toad to kiss.
