Hi all nice site, Its my first post as ive never had any major problems apart from the usual white spot amongs others. I have a 800 or so gallon pond with 8 koi from around 5 inch to 18 inch a few gold fish, comet shubinkin and an orf.Every thing has been fine now for around 8 years, water is fine all fish are around 7 years old and ive only ever lost 2 orf so as you can see thing are very well estabilished. My problem is with one of my bigger koi which has refused to eat since the middle of last year.He will take in food then spit it out he only seems to like small bits of bread and doesnt eat much of that.I put it down to being moody and left him alone till after the winter. Now spring is here he is very thin with bones starting to show.He swims with the rest, roots around at the bottom comes up for feeding and seems to be ok but with being white his veins are stating to show and he is getting painfully thin although doesnt seem in pain and acts perfectly normal, and as all my others are fine it is only an isolated problem which i hope will have a happy ending. I hope somebody has had the same problem as he is one of my older fish bought nearly 8 ago and would hate to lose him. Thanks in advance for any help Carl and Julie.
