Sick Koi Can't Post

I have a 300 gallon outdoor pond and have been successful at keeping my 3 Koi and 2 goldfish healthy for a few years now. We live in CA with mild temperatures.

The fish became more active as the weather changed - for us it was around mid February. It was nice to see them all again.

Anyway, 2 weeks ago, I noticed my most interactive and largest Koi was upside down and at the bottom of the pond. We thought he/she had expired and attempted to remove it, but alas, it had some life in him/her yet and resisted our attempts. A second Koi was observed swimming sideways on the following day. I do not observe any sores or swollen parts of their bodies - just this very odd behavior. The first Koi has been wedged at the bottom in the same spot, still upside down - for 2 WEEKS! I can see it move and get active at feeding time. The second fish is missing in action - now for about 2 weeks as well.

We do get an occasional heron (lost 2 fish to it 2 years ago). I do not think that we have raccoon problems.

We added Pond Salt, Melefix and are feeding them all Debride Rx.

The water levels checked out within normal limits.

What else can I do? Is this fish on a long and slow road to death? The other 3 seem to be fine and dandy.

comming off winter, fish inmune systems is very weak. anything strange in water (parameter, bacteria content) will exhaust the fish, they are too tired now. change complet 100% new water, salt the pond to .3%. they will be allright. since the fish are so weak, you may see it drop down to the bottom and turn upside down. don't panic, just few days it will acclimate the new environment and return to normal.
salt when added have to reach .3% (3# per 100 gallon) don't need to add melefix (?) just change 100% water it will eliminate bateria in a hurry.

Samantha-
Thanks for the suggestions. We did a 25-50 % change of H2O and still there is no change in this one Koi. The water levels were all in the acceptable range.

The Koi is in the same spot, upside down. It eats and seems to respond to my voice or if I place some shade and remove the shade from it. The fish was very active for about 3-4 weeks following the winter slow down. The 3 other fish are normal, The other Koi is missing in action.

I added about 2 cups of salt per 100 gallons of water. Should I add more?
Anything else we can do?

you need to change 100% new water to reduce to the max bacteria content, clean up the pond floor, filter... ad .3% salt means add 3# of salt per 100 gallon. the salt we buy from supermarket Morton salt is 1.5# . fish will not recover immediately, they are very weak now, latter you need to check on your pond volume. the smaller the pond, the worst koi immune system is.
some fish are strong, some fish are weak, that you will find down every year, at this time, it happen to the same fish.
