all my fish are dying off one by one Can't Post

hello

all my fish are dying off one by one !! why i dont know .

a few weeks back a heron took most of the fish out my parents pond ,they were on holiday so i went about and bought some new koi ,and my brother also bought 2 new koi .

ever sice every couple of days another fish dies ,all the fish that die seem to be ok and then they start to go thin ,followed by death !

one fish yesteray (ghost koi)was swimming around very strangly ,so i took it into the hospital tank ,so i could get a closer look ,it looked as if it had tiy white fluffy parts sticking out from underneth its scales ,also it had a white spot sticking out of its body with a fluffy head on it ,fins were red and the eyes looked drawn in .

today that fish is dead ,so i inspected the fish ,under what should have been white scales it was pink ,there was blood coming from the gills ,the fins were rotted away ,eyes very cloudy ,and white stringy stuff coming from its anus ,the fish itself felt very slimy .

i have tryed salting twice which did perk the fish up .i am also trying king brittish antyi parisite and king brittish anti desease meds ,

i am at the stage now where i just dont know what to do :(

my water stats are below please somebody help me .

PH 7.2

KH 3-6 whats kh ?

GH 7-8 whats gh?

NO2 mg/l 1

NO3 mg/l 0

sorry to hear that bad Marcus. If blood come out from the gill, then it have been attacked by either parasite or a heavy content of bacteria at the gill . In this case nothing you can do. The white tuffy thing is SAP. it eat the wound no matter where the wound is. The fin rot is by too much bacteria in the pond, or the immune system of the fish is weak. A complete water change, clean up filter then a shotgun follow will get all back. Please read my post on shotgun method. Fish disease unlike human, not complicate at all. Keep your finger crossed. After you do both, salt to .4% in 2 weeks will help relax your fish and boost up them inmune system.

sorry that i said .4% it's .3%. invest in a scope is the best idea a koi keeping do. Once you have it, you master Koi disease! Always keep pond clean, with every meaning of it. no plants, no devices, elevated wall, change water regularly, not much large tree around and a roof. that will do it. But that time we will have a problem: i will miss you then. Bye.

after i despsed of the fish i did notice tiny little worms where the fish had been layed ,but i couldnt get a pic because my camera wouldnt zoom in that close , they were roughly 2-3 mm long nd under 1/4 of a mm wide ,will search the net for pics and get back to you once i find what it is ,also i have ivy trailing into the pond ,can this affect the fish ???
