egg impaction Can't Post

I have a fish that I believe is egg impacted. She had raised scales, but with some antibiotics and abdomen massageing has beeen able to maintain. In looking at the picture can anyone give me a remedy for the situation. Any comments are appreciated. She is still eating, but only special treats with medicated food. She had 3 shots of baytril, not sure about the spelling. Water temp has been dropping but trying to bring it up again, currently 64 degrees farenheit. Does anyone know the name of the drug used prior to trying to milk out the eggs??

Hello, I would check out ( www.koivet.com) this site will help you, I would stop with the injections!! And as I understand ( 3) injections is too much!Apart from the fact that these must be given in the right place! So spend some time at koivet and read everything from Doctor Eric Johnson he is the best when it comes to koi meds!

Thank you Ayranjim. Doctor Johnson believes that surgery is the only way to treat egg impaction. and it may have the best survival rate of all treatments, but I have spoken or read in many instances other vets, breeders, and just koi lovers who have had success in other treatments. And yes I have read the case where her koi died in her hands, trying to relieve the pressure by squezing out he eggs. I'm afraid I am not willling to spend that much money on my pet fish

Just to give an update to anyone who might have been following this thread. Fish is doing much better. Trying to heal her with nothing but good water, since she already had 3 shots of Baytril. Although I have in the last two days added Melafix and Pimafix to promote faster healing. She seemed to be a lot better after the first day. Swimming faster, started eating regular food. Almost slimmed down all the way. I am still raising the salt level because she is flashing and jumping. It seems that the smaller Koi started doing this today also, but he is acting like he has something stuck in his mouth? Any suggestions?
