tumor extending from gill cover down throat-help

My koi what appears to be a hard tumor that starts behind the gill cover and extends down the throat. He is desperately hungry but can not keep his food down for long. I have tried to tube feed him and may have gotten a little medicated food down but not much. Any advice for my poor Masoni fish?
