Your last posts indicate nothing about your pond environment. However, it the temperature of the pond and environment is high, there is little water movement, chances are that the pond has very little oxygen and the fish are gasping for air.

Introduce an air pump and with air diffusers and airstones soon!

Dear jtaing858

Your discription says that your fish are stressed Maybe due to bad water conditions or alot of plants using up th oxgen at night.

Check the water first get some test kits to check ammonia levels nitrite and nitrate.

Also check your filters, if the pond is new you might need to seed the filters.

Do a 25% water change every 4 days if the ammonia is to high. Never change all the water in one go as you might just end up with dead fish.

Look after the water and the fish will look after themselfs.

If the water is within acceptable levels then you might need to look for gill problems.
