Im a newbie need help Can't Post

I have a concrete pond tiled on the bottom surface and along the wall,

My pond dimension is around 18 feet length by 4 feet width and around 5 feet in height.. at the moment i have 35 kois in there, mostly small one to medium size koi... only two large kois in there...

at the moment my water depth is around 1.5 feet .. planning to add one more filter on the other end to regulate water movement at the other end... then after that i raised the water level

any suggestion

so do u think im overpopulated....

hi ice..

improve filter set up and system ia the way to go..

yes ur pond is over populated.

more koi = more waste = need more filter media for bacteria to grow and digest the waste (ie.ammonia, nitrite, nitrate etc)
