Its a type of fruit in malaysia. Very famous. Now is the season. Alot of people love it. Durian mmm... Its green and has many thorns. Here is a picture of it. Can i feed it to a koi?
Once my dad was eating durian while watching the koi's. Some of the durian 'flesh' dropped on the ground so he threw it into the pond. They came 'whacking' it . I guess it shouldn't be a big problem if u feed them durian. They're like us, Asians, durians... mmm yummy
I used to feed my kois with durian once in a while, but not now, the durian easily cloud the water, make the water 'milky', we can give the kois other alternatives...

Might as well feed me, last time I feed durian to my kois is because the quality is too bad and I don't want to eat it, it was a waste to throw them away and expecting the kois may take some benefit out of it. Try feed them papaya, they love it very much, and I hope the contain of papain in papaya will help them to digest the protein from the koi food...
