Weight vs Length Can't Post

I found very useful formular of weight vs length in www.coloradokoi.com. I rectified with the graph from Nichirin. I plot the result to check and found out it is average male and female, see below. It can be used in Excel worksheet when you want to find the overall weight of Koi in your pond to find the quantity of food per day. Also, it can be used for dose of antibiotic injection.

Re: [Tao BKK] Weight vs Length [In reply to] Can't Post

Tao BKK, do you have a specific reference for the Nichirin male and female Koi weight versus length data? I had a female koi die this weekend that appeared to be quite healthy, except maybe a little overweight (61 cm and 5 kg) which I would like to verify. The Koi are spawning and every plant in the pond was torn apart. I heard a large splash around midnight and suspect this was a spawning accident, especially since all other Koi are healthy.

Thanks,
Steve
