They are house lizards (or geckos in other parts of the world), a very familiar sight in South East Asia. Quite soft, except maybe the skull. Adults about 3-4 inches long with a tail that detaches to distract predators. There are lots of them around, and can be easily caught with a water gun. Wet them, and they fall off the ceiling in droves. Just curious as they are a good source of protein. Cheers, CD
