frozen brine shrimp thawed?

Hi,
Can you feed new fry 2 weeks old with thawed frozen brine shrimp? For the past two years of having fry's I have used the baby powered food until they got big enough for the brine shrimp...was just wondering if you can introduce them to this so young? I don't want to hatch my own brine shrimp..unfortunately my room is limited.
