Hi forever, Since there are multiple kois affected, we can safely assume that the problem was systemic rather than limited to any individual koi. The fundamental thing to remember is that one of the first things koi will lose is their colour when they kicked into survival mode. If this is the case, you have to find out what the cause that is stressing the koi. They are a number of things to check - PH As mentioned by Koi 888, a pH crashed would be the first thing to consider - Chlorine Were your tap water sufficiently declorinated (for chlorine and Chloramine)? - Contaminants Did things like detergent, fertiliser, Cu etc get into the tank? - temperature Excessive high temperature could be a factor - Light and noise Is your tank indoor? Insufficient light will affect hi and watching Bo Bice (what a fantastic performance!) and TV stuff may contribute to continual stress - Overcrowded Self explanatory Hopefully, you can identify the source of the problem first. cheers..
