what's best as food? Can't Post
i got a two and a half inched koi the other day and i am wondering if Goldfish and koi flakes are good enough for now? or do i need pellets?

Hi Mskoi, for your koi u should buy baby size pellets and as they grow u should chang the size on the pellets. Flakes are ok for now but as they grow flakes arn't enough nutrient there there for them.

Hi Mskoi,
Another thing, you can crush the pellets if they are too big for your fingerlings.Its hazardous for koi to give them larger pellets.

Hi,
I usually soak the pellets first and then when they are soft enough, I squeeze them using two fingers and toss them in. The fingerlings love to fight over them.
