Hi, changing more than 10% water daily is fine provided it is done gradually over a few hours as koi are very sensitive to water changes. Your koi should be very happy. Smile

I have been adding chlorinated water to my pond in small amounts, around 150 gallons and week for two years and has not hurt my fish. The pond is a 1300 gal. pond and since yours is a lot bigger,I dont think it will hurt if your water is aerated good. I would think not. Just be carefull not to over do it because cholorine will kill your fish.

Yes, I agree with koifishgirl Smile. Small amounts are fine if your water is well aerated. You could create a water curtain or spray as you add tap water into the pond. This would help to dissipate some chlorine into the atmosphere. Smile

Hi I change my water once a year in spring. I let the filteration do the work for me. I dont like to clean bio filter often.

Good. That's what I do too. Smile This method is least stressful to the koi and they won't even feel it. Smile
