Rumor has it that was an advertising thing. If I remember right....I think the whole thing was over a 60+cm Kohaku with perfect color markings.

Shinkokai GCs usually do not cost more than a quarter of a mil US$... IMHO, US$1 mil koi is BS.

i rather get a S-7 Saleen, F-1 McLaren GT, Lamborghini Murceilago, Buggati EB-110, or Enzo Ferrari than a fish that worth that much Tongue
