Everyone OK??? Can't Post

I've been hearing about the big blow on the news over the weekend and wondered if everyone down under weathered the storm in good shape. Hope so.

Hi Jon,

Nah, cannot make it to Sydney this time round. As it is, a week is a very short trip and we are already not doing Melbourne justice. The pleasure of visit to your home state would be all mine really and I reckon whatever wine collection you have will not be safe. Next time perhaps. Smile

Cheers..

Very good to hear all is wellCool. The reports I've heard on radio and TV are pretty devastating. One desscribed banana and cane plantations as looking like they had been mowed down like grass. Cane and Banana's grow back easier than Koi-Keepers so it is good to know that you and your fellow Aussie Kichi are well.
I've been fine. Just too busy for my own good. I've had a string of large houses go up all at once so I havn't had much time for posting or pond work latelyFrown.

Jon,
Saw the clip of the banana plantation flatten too. Its good to know there were no human casualties but for some of them it must have been traumatic and will need plenty of help emotionally and financially to return to normalcy.

Hi Guys,

We do appreciate all your concerns and supportSmile. Apart from cane and banana plantation, lots of different fruits plantation were flatten or damaged. So far according to the local goverment it will take at least 9 months for some platation to get back to normalUnsure The bill so far is billions of dollars excluding plantationShocked and they are bigining to worry about human disease spreading. Fruit prices went up in double or more. Like banana for instance from $3 to $6Shocked and the current supply can only last for a month or so. Due to Australia's tight ban of imported fruits, we'll be drain of some types of fruit in no timePirate

Thanks again everyoneSmile

Jon
