BIO BALL VS MOMOTARO BACTERIA HOUSE Can't Post

Bio balls are used instead of lava rock as a filter material in a pond biological filter. Bio Balls have 44 square feet of surface area compared to lava rocks that only have 16 square feet of surface area.

The biological filter is a very important piece of your pond fitration system. Replacing the lava rock in your Biofalls filter with Bio balls will increase the biological filters capacity, improving your filter system! You should also notice an increase in water flow from your Biofalls filter because the bioballs have less resistance than lava rocks.

One cubic foot of bio balls only weighs 5 pounds, lava rock on the other hand can weigh over 40 pounds per cubic foot! Because bioballs are so light, lifting them up to gain access to the filter pads below them is very easy.

Bio Balls never need to be rinsed off! lava rocks do need to be rinsed off because they will clog with dirt and debris reducing the active surface area for good bacteria to grow on.

Bio Balls sink, are black in color, and fit perfectly inside black mesh bags for easy lifting.

The effect of a bacteria house
Patent acquisition

A bacteria house makes many bacteria which clean water live, and maintains water freshly.
A bacteria house has many holes far compared with the conventional filtration, and the adhesion area of the feature of bacteria is large.
Therefore, many bacteria adhere.
New Bacteria House

The material is same as old tipe but new one has Hole at center of the Bacteria House that make more Surface area! Moreover, since a large number a big hole, water permeates to an inside and raises sufficient filtration effect.

Adhesion of bacteria appears clearly in about about three weeks after installation of a bacteria house, and an effect shows up.
In the hole of the size of a bacteria house, and a static electricity-action, floating matter is caught effectively and they are decomposed promptly. The transparency of water rises in a bacteria house. Bacteria house image Bacteria house sectional view

Bio balls (sorry but they look like plastic cup holder than bio balls which is usually round , especially when we use the word "balls" here Sly)are used instead of lava rock as a filter material in a pond biological filter. The biological filter is a very important piece of your pond fitration system. Replacing the lava rock in your Biofalls filter with Bio balls will increase the biological filters capacity (from my experience, lawa rock is a better bio filter as they hv more surface areaWink), improving your filter system! Bio Balls sink (hey, something wrong with this statement lah Dr, i m sure bioballs are light n they floatLaugh), are black in color, and fit perfectly inside black mesh bags for easy lifting.

Dr.
What brand of bio "ball" is this? IMHO, it doesnt look like it has a lot of surface area for bacteria to grow.
