just wanna share this newly purchase kohaku from bloodline of momotaro's eagle. mother is 'white eagle'.. born 30th July 2006.. comment?

Thanks for the pictures about my new koi. Laugh

I called this new baby of mine "SHABU". Laugh

Hope this baby will grow big and to be released into my new pond (in my new house) in Future.

Watch out for "SHABU", bcoz it might be the next grand Koi Champion in Brunei Sly

Just joking lah. Still have lots of stuff to learn fom lots of grand Master.......

I really appreciated this beauty, like what i said before...it will the next champion. just joking Wink

Every time I went over to see this beauty... she always takes m breath away.. Tongue

I was dumbed stuck by her grown rate of it.. really amazing (just imagine still in the small 6 tons pond). but this beauty is going into the bigger (20 tons) pond soon. I just cannot wait to measure her again.

Yeo buddy... how abt my Sammi? (my newly arrives Sanke). Wink

From 25cm to 45cm in 4mths?! that's a 20cm growth in 4mths OR 5cm per month OR 1.25cm per week. And thats KOI is a sure looker..

BTW, how did you come out with that name? hehe.. Tongue

this is surely a koi to look up at now, coz the future is very bright.. this koi is now keep with me for futher polishing... Bruce trusted me for my "vision" for tategoi.. now i prove to him.. 'i m right'

at 1st the koi when arrive look like a male, body bulky which many people will say.. " will not grow big one lah".. so i ask bruce to buy it. now... the koi do its own talking hahahahah.. no futher comment from me.. seeing is believing..

beside this kohaku i also sold 2 sanke (also keep wit me) to a fren which i will prove to many dat this ia another 'stunner'.. Sly

Hello, Bruce,

Koi developing nicely. Fast growth without Hi thinning.... good job. First thing that strikes me is the Shiroji. I think this is important as it will bring out the pattern. I think you bought this koi at the same time as I did from Vincent. It is interesting that the koi lost its blocky body. Mine still has that blocky head look. I hope it will become like yours. You confirm its a female? I am not sure about mine though. But if Kit insist, I dare not desist! Cool

Mohan had post his kohakus from the same batch. Lets compare notes as we go along. But the most important thing is; Sendiri mesti syiok! Laugh

How R u?? heheh.. the kohaku's head part is still blocky, just the body a bit thin n longish.. may b is the picture angle problem the koi look longish..she is kept with other 18 koi in my 5.5 ton pond.. may b not feeding enough Sly

yes the koi is from the same batch as urs n mohan's, the 88cm mother.. wheather this koi is male or female is still a question mark la.. Sly

.. lot of koi turn male even at sansai Crazy

.. at this moment i can say SHE look n feels like female..

Thanks for the all the compliments. Really appreciated.
For the amount of money i spend on monthly pond rental is worth it. My koi is growing with improved skin quality.
Too bad the pic is not properly taken Tongue

, should ask r real professional to take it.

Happy to say the real fish is better than the pictures.

I expect it to be the next champion in the whole of Brunei... Tongue

The way you write and ask about koi does not sound you are new. You must be someone i know. Judging from the threat you send me from my pond picture how to do you know i do not have a bottom drain?.

Truly appreciate your comment and concern. My aim is to learn from practical people like you and others too. I am new to this forum but my so-called knowledge are based from I understand from the books and my neighbour pond which gave me a chance to peek through and enjoy. I went to other website do some learning as well. This is to answer LEO.
To answer rob's question, your long post didn't mentioned any bottom drain at all from start till last post, I can only look at those photos on and off that were posted and reading along your interesting thread, that's why I said "I ""think"" you dont have a bottom drain (if you could refer back to the post I send). This is my understand based on my logic.

Hope this clear your concern.

just wanna share this info.. shaabu measured 49cm 8th June 2007.. she was 45cm 0n 21/04/2007.. has grown abit of girth but less in length.. well may b this is wat to expect from white eagle bloodline..

any comment from other white eagle kohaku's owner? hows ur kohakus????

I was running through the Brunei section � I can see the burning desire of the koi hobbyist down there � keep it up!

Just to share with you my two female Momo kois of the same bloodline for your consumption.

When the S�poreans were down here both was measured about 56cm+. When Thiamhwa was down here a few days ago, we netted and measured it about 61cm. Today it should be 61cm++.

Can we see a latest pic about your 3 stepped kohaku?. When you transpired to your big pond, the growth rate is amazing!
