GREETINGS...... Can't Post

First of all i would like to say greetings to all koi members of brunei. I know most of you don't know me.

Well here's the thing, i'm overwhelm Sly and at the same time upset Frown about the koi members of brunei. It seems that you guys likes this hobby so much
but then again you guys don't want to invest whats best for your fish. Having a huge pond and having and exelent fish is good but then again whats the use if
the water is not treated at all and the filtration systems sucks. You will end up having ugly fish or even worse killing that fish.

I know for a fact that keeping koi is very expensive but this is the hobby we choose. I am very proud of this member koi@kit, started from a nobody
to a somebody. I remeber back in the days it is very hard for me to get medications, koi food, water treatment (REFRESH, ONITAIGI, BIO HEALTHY SUPER DX), filtration materials and etc, but now when he starts bringing in those
stuff i'm so relief, i don't have to worry no more... I know the price is very costly but then again money is no object to me, because i know its not easy to bring in those stuff to brunei. All i want is to have a PERFECT KOI and i'm sure you do too....

My advice is please do take care of your water and upgrade to a better filtration system even if you have to pay more, for the sack of the fishes.....

Cheers......Wink

Hello and welcome to the koi forum Dr.Smile

I agree with you that not many are prepared to invest in proper filteration systems for their koi ponds. It is a expansive hobby but the joys of seeing your fishes grow and glow is the best rewards that an enthusiast can have.

A koi pond needs good filteration system to sustain proper water clarity and sufficient nutrients to keep the koi growing well and prevent growth of black algae from forming.

I am a supplier of biological filters for koi ponds and I also do design and construction of ponds. I have come across a lot of customers that is not aware or are not willing to invest in a proper system for their pond and it is only when they have a lot of problem with the water quality then they will only consider about it. Its a ptiy that you invest so much in building the pond, the fishes and you neglect the most inportant thing - a good filteration system Frown.

The filter that we supply is from Germany and it gurantees clean clear water anytime and easy maintenance of the filter through a backwashing system and incorporating a UV light. I would be most glad to provide any information that you require about the system.

I have done a lot of modifications for ponds using the chmaber systems and the results are amazing. The owners are so happy with it and they are recommending their friend that have koi ponds to change too. I am not too sure if there is a supplier in Brunei for the system but if you need further details do get in touch with me anytime.

I can be reached via my email at low_richardbs@yahoo.com or my mobile at 016-9620918.

Best wishes of the day.

Re: [low_richardbs] GREETINGS...... [In reply to] Can't Post

Thank you Mr. Richard Low...Smile

I'm really honoured that you took your time to reply my post. Sadly to say about that filtration system offer, i think i have to pass for now because i've been using the
MOMOTARO BACTERIA HOUSE and THE MOMOTARO BAKI SHOWER for my system for quite some time and the results is very astonishing and also its huslte free...
All my fishes are strong and healthy...

Please don't get the wrong idea, i'm not saying that your filtration system is not good but if i have to change my filtration system, its means that i will have to start
new and i will kill all my bacteria in my pond. Those are the chances that i'm not willing to risk. And speaking about UV LIGHT, back in the days i use to have it but after making several research it not only kills harmfull bacteria but also at the same time it will kill does good ones. That is why i decided to stop using it...

Maybe one day when i decide to make another pond i will definately call you...
I will keep your email and your phone number as KIV and also i will ask around if my mates are intrested....

I really hope that you understand and no hard fellings and i really hope that we could be friends...

Best wishes

Dr. KolamSmile

Re: [Dr.Kolam] GREETINGS...... [In reply to] Can't Post

Gd morning Dr.Smile,

I know you have an existing system running at your pond and I am just passing on some info to you about my products. We have the same interest as I have a koi pond myself and I am just introducing my products, who knows you might have friends that would like to have one.

It's not a problem there, as members of the forum we try to help out where we can on systems, water treatment and upkeep of the fishes. Most glad to share knowledge with all that is interested Smile.

Do keep in touch via my email if you have any queries later on.

Cheerioooooooo

Richard
