Growout event Can't Post

hi everybody,

how does everybody feel about growout event..i am thinking of organising the event to spice up our koi hobby in Brunei plus getting to know one another.
but the success of this event depends on the number of participation..basically the more the merrier. this is just a proposal yet but i hope to get it running..
further details regarding it will be posted soon..anyone interested can simply reply through this post.

at the moment this is the plan..the koi available for selection still under consideration. then u have the choice of either taking the koi back to ur pond and do ur own magic Cool or keep it on an assigned pond at my place (for those who doesnt have the facility but interested to join..hehe). so that is it at the moment..further information with regards to the cost of participation, prizes and etc will be posted soon. this is wat i have in my mind now hehe..

cheers..

wah kapok koi..

very good ah, 1st pond visit now grow out events..... well, i can support u by providing u with kois for the grow out ( if u want)..

also i can provide u with bacteria hse, momotaro and sakai koi food and even refresh powder as prize for the winners..

just like grow out event at other places, its good to keep the koi 2gether ie. in ur pond for a few month b4 the final day..

depends on ur duration of events, if short term like 3 to 6 mth i wud recommend u to use kohaku..

for those who have been hunger for events and shows, this is ur opportunity,..Smile

keep it up kapok koi..

hi koi@kit,

this is wat i am talking about n looking for...hehe. if this event is to be success i surely need support like u...i guess u have solve a lot of my problem with regards to considering wat sort of prizes and koi to be arrange for this event. perhaps if there is a lot of participation we shud sit down n talk over it. at the mean time i like ur idea. i also think that perhaps it would be better if the koi are kept together coz that would mean that there are treated the same way all the time..but i guess i do not want to limit the participation so that is y i agve 2 options there but as i said it is still a proposal.

i hope to get it running though as fast as possible so still waiting for reply..

as for the event...i am thinking in between the 3 to 6 months period and yes its most likely going to be Kohaku only...n i will consider with regards ur koi..anyway what sort of koi do u have in mind if u wana provide me hehe...mind asking...Wink

btw the purpose of this event is to spice up the koi hobby among the Brunei members so defnitely a non profit event..hehe so guys...wat r u waiting for..hahaCool

cheers..

hi kapok koi..

ok the koi i suggest is kondo kohaku , all come with cert..

i highly recommend u to put all the koi 2gether to b on the fair side. koi growing in same pond with the same food. this way participant can really show their koi selection talent..

i will try to bowl up 5 to 10pc of the kohaku to show u the quality here, hopefully u can get member to join ur events..
beside dat i comfirm with you i can sponsor u bacteria hse, momotaro and sakai foods plus refresh powder as ur winner prize.. if u need any more u can just inform me..

best of luck..

Re: [mustafa] Growout event [In reply to] Can't Post

hi mustafa,

thank you for ur interest in the event i am trying to spice up among koi members in Brunei. i have no problem giving u my contact number in which i will do that by PM ing u.hehe..
first of all, i have started this hobby a long time ago back in 2003 and since then i have even struggle trying to cope to maintain this hobby of mine. i think everybody would agree that this hobby is not a cheap hobby so due to that i even stop for a while juz to save some money for other commitment such as kan kawin and other necessity. its juz this year i manage to bring back my hobby since i move to my own place udah..hehe...u know lah how it is like living under ur parents house wif a pond that require water n electricity running 24/7 hahaCool...everyday kena nag ....but gone are those days...

dont u wory the only thing i am trying to promote here is the event it self and as i said trying to spice up the hobby among the members here so that we all could have some common ground to talk abt rather than all the negativity that have arisen lately...i am truely disapointed with the way this forum is going n this is why i took some initiative to atleast harmonise the Brunei members by lifting up back the hobby.

as i said before this is a non profit event same goes wif the pond visit but i guess no matter how i say it other readers have the right to think of me anyway they like hehe....frankly if this event is going to happen it will definitely use up my own salary so believe me or not i am not making any profit but i am definitely making a loss here..but thanx to koi@kit i manage to reduce my loss a little bit but still losing my own salary hehe...CoolWink

however due to the current issues brought up in other topic i am RECONSIDERING to organise this event. i really tot that by doing such event such as pond visit n growout event i would be able to motivate back the hobby among us here in Brunei.nevertheless if it does go pun i would be able to save my money as well hehe...Cool..but as i said reconsidering only...my proposal plan is almost finish so kind of too late as well to turn back...so wat to do now...any suggestion?

cheers...

Re: [Kapok_koi] Growout event [In reply to] Can't Post

hi Kapok

u shud go on with ur plan.. i WILL sponsor as promised bacteria hse, koi foods and clay WITHOUT asking anyone of the participant to pay me.. as for the koi u want to use is up to u, kondo kohaku is the best choice i can offer u, same price u gonna get from JK koi centre..

if PEOPLE think i make $ from sponsoring u all the product, well, u can ask them to sponsor u since they think they always rite.. giving u the choice of koi is to ease ur mind trying to find koi for ur purpose..

lots of people talk this and talk dat, at the end who is the one who is trying to promote this hobby..Mad
