MOMOTARO KOI IN 37TH SHIKOKAI ALL JAPANCOMBINE SHOW Can't Post
37th Shinkokai All Japan Combined Koi Show.
Kokugyo prize. On January 20,21,and 22nd Momotaro Koi Farm exhibited koi in the 37th Shinkokai All Japan Combined Koi Show. On December 26th our farm was allowed to export and enter koi shows after all of our KHV tests returned negative.

Many koi bred and raised here won awards at this year’s show. One Momotaro Sanke was one of the 5 nominees for Grand Champion. Additionally, some koi bred here at Momotaro Koi Farm and raised at our customers’ ponds won prestigious awards. We are very pleased to share this year’s award winners with you.

Mr. Saburou Izuka Male Champion- Kohaku
This is the 5th consecutive
Kokugyo win for this Kohaku and second time as Male Champion.
Mr.Tougo Kanayama 90 Bu Kokugyo- Sanke, Best in Variety Sanke
Mr. Shojiro Kuroda 85 Bu Kokugyo- Sanke
Last year, this Sanke was Mature champion, which means this year’s Kokugyo
award is its second in a row. Mr.Nobuo Takigawa Jumbo Award- Kohaku 94cm Mr. Giel van Alphen(De Scheper vijver centrum) 90bu Sanke Nominated for Grand Champion- “Ryu- X” 90cm

We also had many first and second prize awards at this year’s koi show.

yap i like the 'square head' too.. making the koi look massive.. do u notice some of the koi is male?? only momotaro male koi look masive almost like a female..Wink

The square head that you see comes from the Sensuke bloodline.Momotaro have used Matsunoske bloodline and Sensuke bloodline.The kohaku named Seio 5years 92cm also came from the 2 bloodlines.I called the square head, Baby Face very cute.

u like the 'square head' tooWink.. my tosai kohaku which turn out to be male are from the bloodline of seio (the father), mother from eagle..Crazy Hope he can get 'square face' too..

Yup thats the sanke.The icon showa is the Ogata showa.Shes 50cm now.She have grown 2cm in 2months.Sly
