Took some pictures of my Momotaro Ryu bloodline sanke. When I bought it in Oct 06(DOB May06) she was 26cm,with very little sumi visible. Now she is 40cm and putting on girth and as you can see, sumi are beginning to appear and hi is also getting darker.

Grandmaster Cifu...

Wow... I'm breathless by how this kois has turned out. The beni has improved tremendously. Sumi placement perfect. Shiroji, simply amazing. May i know what you think cotributes to the good growth and beni transformation.. Quality food? Good water parameters?Smile

Is it a female??

Yes shes female! This sanke was choosen with the help of Mr.Hsu Tseng Chung(Taiwan)the day before he came to Brunei to judge the Living Jewel show 06.We both like the body conformation and were very interested to see how the sumi will come up.I wouldnt say she have perfect placement sumi, but very interesting though.Yes good food and good water parameters also have something to do with her progress. Also lucky that Vincent(KepongKoi)brought in kois of this quality at an afforable price.....

Grandmaster cifu..

very good speciment u got there.. not to worry abt the sumi.. i m sure they will turn out 'ink jet' black.. as for the 'spot' sumi.. lets hope they will become 'solid'..

koi kept at ur 6 star pond sure get good results.. u have very crystal clear water.. all ur koi grow lots of girth and jumbo up soo fast.. may b can rent out ur pond to keep some member's koi for further polishing..

ur feeding pattern also very impresive, if not mistaken u feed ur koi fresh egg?????.... hahahah... opppsss is dat ur secret?? u also feed silk worm etc.. rite??

How abt register urself for the next pond visits? i m sure many member wud like to see ur koi and pond.. most importantly get to know u better..Wink

very impressive changes. colour intensified. look like male to me. color too bright, head part yellowish. i read some where in this forum male have yellow head. please do correct me if i am wrong.

may be you use colour food. the body good but look a bit bended. may be is the water or may be is the camera.

Grandmaster Cifu,

Impressive growth and changes, body structure looks like will grow into a Big fish.

Was eyeing this fish when I was in KL but dealer refused to let me chose this fish as you have reserved it, anyway, great that you posted, can see how the fish develope.

Cheers!
