er....i think ur caption is a bit out...not match with d photo ler....Wink

btw i most favourite type is kohaku, showa & shiro utsurimono.....the reasons are:

1. for kohaku, there is a saying sound like this: "start with kohaku and end with kokahu"....meaning that when some one start to got interested with koi, he will impress with kohaku, then will start to keep koi with others varieties of koi...but when after keeping for a long time, then he will realise after all, the kohaku still is the best......Smile

2. for showa, just like the transformation. from an ungly duckling to a beauty.......

3. fro shiro, nothing much, just like the colour like the chinese painting....black n white.....hahaha Wink

tks for ur reply, yes i agree with u with ur choices..

i like kohaku n sanke.. showa.. hmmm unless kindai showa.. i like koi with more 'white', too much sumi make a koi ugly..
my choice for kohaku is the same as urs. sanke for me is same like kohaku, just a few 'ink jet' black dots..

i like other variety of koi too, but i prefer to keep the gosanke..Laugh

All,
My preference is Kohaku although I like others too.

1. Because it is red and white. A pool of kohaku will make fantastic view!
2. Strong hi is difficult to maintain at least at my level right now but it is always a challenge to achieve that level. Of course depends on the origin of the kohaku too.
3. You can have a variety of Koi but short of kohaku is very disappointing, at least for me, hahaha.

oh ur favourite is kohaku... heheheheheheh.. get ur $$$$ ready coz i got 10 kohaku for competition soon... u will buy more than one if the competition not ON..Cool

dont know ah but if u ask me ah i like kois and all them are fine specimen ha ha ha if someone like particular kois then just go get the picutre loh ha ha ha
