Re: [koi@kit] koi selections n grow out events [In reply to] Can't Post

hi kit,

I'm Rudy from Jakarta. I understand you have talked to Vincent regarding the arrangement for overseas participant. So, per fish the cost will be RM 800 + an additional RM 300 to spend 6 months time in Kepong pond. Can you confirm this? Also, could you kindly share with me Vincent email or phone number. Many thanks in advance.

On another subject, what is the arrangement for overseas participant in selecting the fish? Same method with GCSpyder grow-out event? Thanks again

hi cifu,

Just curious, on this matter of selection. Do we perhaps prepare a list of photos for our slection when our representative chooses for us or is it something different. Think this event is too good to pass out but just undecided as yet..Wink

Hi Kemeer,

Kit has asked me to help in the selection as he won't be able to make it there and I should be going. If you are participating and are not planning to go, I would suggest you make a list according to preference so that whoever is going will be able to select the highest on your list that has not been selected by those before you.

Cheers!

Hi Scotto,

thanks for clearing that up. So, i reckon the concept is similar to that of the Sg Growout. What do you reckon would be a safe number to list out? 30 - 40 ?

Cheers

p/s how's your Momo Sanke and WT Shiro turning out?Sly

Hi Kemeer,

I really don't know what is a good number for the list as the system is a bit different from GC's growout event, Vincent is going to divide the 100 kois into 5 tanks, what if your list of 30-40 fish all fall into 2-3tanks and your selection is from the other 2 tanks??UnsureFrown
I am not a cifu la, I am still a Tosai when it comes to koi keeping.Laugh My momo sanke is growing wellSmile but the WT shiro got sick and was in quite bad shape, it is now recovering.

Cheers!
