Hi Ari-raja

Nice to hear a note ffrom you too.

I am live at Nusukan Banjarsari, and I am happy has a new fren. Now on I am out bound and perhaps will be at home next week. Please give me your number and I will call you back soon if I've get home.

Anyway, what food you feed to your lovely koi? Is it the Shiroji or other premium food available at Solo? I want to try sometime to see what the effect to my cheap koi.

I have 5 local kois I most like, (total 10) almost one year old, but the size averagely 40 cm or more since I bought them on May 2006 they are only 15-20 cm. Do they have normal growth to your experience. Sorry, I asking too much, Ok, Thanks

Warmest Regards

Thank a lot ghooze..., I have more kois than your. Mine are about 50 kois. There are 7 kois in 40 cm long, they are 2 years old. I feed them with cheap koi food, Taisho. If your koi size now 40 cm, it is a fast growth, coz you said you bought them at Juni 2006 ago in 15 - 20 cm. What food you fed them, ghooze? Ok friend, next time we can meet in Solo. My mobile 0818 272010.. I wait your call asap. Thank you.
Rgds,
Ari

Hi Ari

Sorry response is lately! I don't know you have attached your number and I didn't log in for a week.

Is Taisho a cheap one? I've never used it, I used the real cheap one like CP.
Now I turn to Hikari from Ryoiku-Made in Japan product one. It has been feeded almost a week past. I notice a great result being using this food. I saw the water become clear compare two days before it. I also able to see the pond floor included the ochiba.
We feed the Koi with slightly diffrent (I think), Beside the pellet, we gave salad, wheatgearm, live cricket, and also worm. Crickets are feeded almost every two days. One agly fish which just one inch since April 2006, now it become almost 25 cm. Ten times in 10 months I think. Last week I feed half kilos crickets in one day for trial, they are look.... oke....ha......ha....ha.....
Note: my number 08175749709...I want to see your fish also...

Warmest Regards

Ghozze - Sirait Hi Ghozze, Taisho is very cheap koi food. I bought it from the fish shop in Jogjakarta Rp 70.000/10 kgs. Hikari is expensive koi food isn't it? How much? Is crickets not harm for koi, ghozze? Thank you, Rgds, Ari

Re: [ari-raja05] Koi food [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Ari

Hikari is cheaper than CP, there is a economy bag available. Only 160.000 /5kg (one bag). big size granular pellet. Compare to CP or Hokky, they are 35.000/kg or 175.000/5kg. Cheaper ! I bought at "Pasar Gede" Solo. I am slightly surprised when the water become clear as it said will not cloud the water come true.
Cricket so far did not harm my kois, seem they are more like it than a pellet. With pellet, they eat just as usual, slow but sure, with cricket available on the surface, wow...they will run into it. Under 10 seconds 50 - 100 crickets run out for ten kois. You can try a few and take it out if they don't eat it.

Why some our Frens koi lovers and expert wan't to share their deep experience with us?

Thanks

Warmest Regards
Ghozze
