Hi Koi 888,
Very nice design pond. Lovely. How deep is it ? Deeper is better. When will you bring your koi in ?
I'm a bit worry about the springkle's pipe. It may hurt the fish as it's hanging in the middle. Fish can easily get shock and swim/jump suddenly, hopefully they don't bang into it.

Nice pond, what is the size and how deep?
What is your filterization systems?

Depth is 80 to 90 cm. I think the sprinkle is quite avoidable since the diameter of the pvc that i use is only 1 inch. If fish jumps, i m more afraid that they will bang into the natural rocks bordering my pond... Frown

Shall post pics of my pond in day light to show the depthness of the pond better.

I will be hunting for kois tis weekend Smile some of the 20-30cm kois
My filter design: 1st vortex, 2nd japs mat, 3rd bio balls, 4th bio balls, 5th ziolit + water pump. Total filter volume: 1.7-1.8 m3.

bought 10 local kois Smile .. size ranges from 15 to 25cm

this kohaku is 20-25cm.

question on motoguro: can they appear later or they have to be there when koi is born.

Anywae kois are from blitar (so they say) and price range is 100-200k rupiah with discount.
