and i'm new hobbist too....hope to learn more from u guys.....Wink

Hi bosen...

They are some nice kois, are they local ? seem some are imported kois? Kohaku very good, shiro (tancho showa) is ok.

Sometime it is difficult to get a review or a comment from others in indonesian forum. Maybe there are just a few koi keepers on-line. We have to be patiently, especially if we are a beginner with certain grade kois.

Hey Andy, me pretty nearby, Cempaka Putih... name is Pau. Yes, I do agree it is kind of sepi this forum, I was hoping by joinin this forum that I could learn a lot from the koi keepers yang lain2.

Shiro and Tancho Showa are good and show qualities.
The other koi are also good for pond fish.
Kohaku is too blocking for the red part. Could not stand any chance in the Show but again, very nice for the pond keeping.

Hey Andi,

I use to keep koi, then found out that the pond that my dad built salah, so now just switch the pond to koki. Movin out in a few months and plan to build a koi pond that can accomodate koi's, Wink. So meanwhile in the process of learning and hoping to learn from everyone here about filtration, etc prior to buildin a pond. Maybe we can meet up sometime and have chit chat bout fishy hehehe....

bought the last kohaku,, at fei koi, kata orangnya sihc import...heauhaeu,,,by looking at the body size (my opinion) it should be import

Hi Bosen,

Hopefully you are not going to be "bosen" to this hobby. You just have nice kois collection there. If you are willing to step forward, then you might want to cull some of the kois and then keep some kois proporsionally within your pond volume and filtering design. It would help to grow your kois to the optimum result. Wink
