Fishes meanings in asian folk? Can't Post

I had a question about Japanese "FISHING" folk: Do you know what represents the different traditional fishes? (e.g. the Koi meaning strenght & wisdom or others good luck). I've heard there are other fishes with different meanings in the japanese folk but have troubles findind them on the internet. Also I extend this request not only to japanese folk but to other asian countries. Thank you for any help! Luis from ARGENTINA, SOUTH AMERICA
