"After The Rain" Can't Post
How are your koi's after the typhoon FRANK? Mad


When I got home this weekend, to my disbelief my pond is very very cloudy..
I really can't see much, up until the kois is near the surface.

Drained the water at about 45%, still cloudy..

Any suggestions to make the water clear again?

before the typhoon, my water is clear although the sides of the pond is green, i have no u.v. installed yet,
i used some fiberfill to "sift through" the suspended debris and algae,

my pond is about a month now, i drained it once a week .

any suggestions would really help.

Bro good day!

Have you experienced brownout/no electricity during the typhoon?
how many hours? (maybe this is the reason of the cloudy water)
--> The beneficial bacteria will slowly die during the brownout...

Bro its a good decision that you had a 45% water change.
To make your water clear again,
1. Water change 30% weekly
2. Add beneficial bacteria such as stress zyme by API
to increase culture of good bacteria to your filter
3. Or reset your entire pond if it persist hehehe

wag mo drain once a week ung pond mo and filters as well kasi mawawala ung good bacteria

pabayaan mo mag mature ung pond...and the nature will come along the way to help you out.

Ako, cguro 10% water change per week ok na. Iwasan mo din ung mga falling leaves bro nakaka-murky ng water yan
