Bubble tubing, anyone interested? Update w possible prices Can't Post

I'm going to order some Bubble Tubing from the Canadian Pond Co. And the max they can ship is 20m of tubing. If anyone's interested in a few metres I'm going to sell the remaining tubing since I only need approx. 15-18m. The cost of the tubing now per metre is CDN$21.95 which is roughly PhP975.53 for 1m length which comes out to be PhP 297.42 per foot.

By the way, is there such a thing as too much Oxygen in the filter? since i'm thinking of coiling this tubing rather tightly on the floor of the bio chamber so it'll look like the floor is covered with the tubing. Also thinking of adding a bakki shower to my setup to keep the water extra clean.

Updated prices: 1 metre can go anywhere from P1000 - P2000 per meter. 1 meter is roughly 3 ft. Will post pics of it at work in my temp pond since my pond isn't done yet. !/2" connectors are needed for the tubing btw. The price depends on the shipping rate I get from the manufacturer.

There is no such thing as too much oxygen in your filter system. Actually too much or lots of oxygen will boost the growth of the good bacteria, so its all good :)

When I get back I will be redoing my pond too and will also be getting some bubble tubing if it works great.
so please post some feedback if its worth buying all the way from Canada....also please post more pics of your pond contruction :)

Remember! the more oxygen in your bio filter, the better.

There's a pic of the bubble tubing at work in a lake on the website: http://www.canadianpond.ca/bubbles.html

There's also an update pic of my pond as it looks now in a previouspost of mine in the Pond Construction section: http://www.koi.com.my/cgi-bin/koiforum/gforum.cgi?post=80542;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread

Still thinking if I should order the pump online from the states or just buy it here... ordering online would save me quite a few thousand pesos... decisions decisions...

Would it really save you a few thousand pesos if you buy overseas? not only it is hard to find the things you are looking for locally, but, if you find it, it sure is expensive here in the Philippines, I mean, I know they have to make money and recover shipping cost, but , I have seen people charging 2 or 3 times its original price.

Already asked for pump prices and compared it to ordering online and having it shipped here... yes it will save me a few thousand, 5k plus to be exact. There's a similar product to a tubing I want and it'll cost 5 times that amount here.

The pump I can have it shipped to my aunt if it's not a bother to her since she's coming over in June. But either way, I'll end up saving some money that would go to either a bakki shower or more kois hehe

BTW, I'm currently waiting for the guy from Canadianponds.ca to respond to my email re: payment method since they don't have a secure site. So if he agrees to my payment terms I expect my tubing to come next month. Koi keeping turly is a lesson in patience... haaaaaaaaay!Sly
