Cox! do you buy the big sack or the medium sized individual bags?
I feed my fish tomigai taberu and spirulina.

For treats I just give them lettuce. cant think of anything else thou.
I have never tried frozen shrimps or brine. any feedback on those?

mikoi, only taberu is sold in sacks.

wheatgerm is sold in 3kg vacuum sealed packs (inside a box)
just like your spirulina

ang extreme naman ng pakain mo, taberu (economy) and spirulina ... parang tabi tabi food with hotel steak

cox, I feed with tomigai wheatgerm din ... mixed with a little spirulina (i experimented on a yellow koi with pure spiru, lumabas yung dots of orange ... im experimenting now kung mawawala if back to pure wheatgerm)

I like the "large" size of the wheatgerm - tama lang yung laki. parang mas malinis yung pond than when I was feeding the extra large size pellets before.

hikari wheatgerm is a famous brand (and pretty much the national japanese koi food) - available at bio research, but the price is multiples higher than k&p wheatgerm [baka taga kasi bio research]

k&p sells wheatgerm in 15kg bulks, but the packaging is still 3kg sealed packs x 5 (in one big box)
thats actually a good idea because you only open 3kg, while all the others are still vacuum sealed (keeps the freshness in).

Left for Cebu for a month and during that time my staple of koi master (?) ran out (got this brand from per zone but still prefer hikari) anyway, so the maid, not knowing what to do started feeding my koi with silk worm pupae (bought also from pet zone 320 per med size plastic jar) and holy crap when I came back my koi definitely grew although water quality went all cloudy... sigh. still waiting for my pond to finish...

saw a sack of koi food being sold at koi village for P300 per bag (i think the bag was 5 kilos but not sure) anyone tried using this? koi village also now has those big circular koi nets for 6k something.

Hello Mike, came from petzone today and sadly they didn't have the koi pupa food anymore nor are they planning on stocking it at the banawe branch. Anyone know where else I can get silk worm pupa? Aside from bio research at bicutan... don't want to drive all the way out there...
