Thanks for your reply ,my problem with the shipping is the paper works that one will have to go thru and still unsure whether or not it will be accepted thru customs ,perhabs you have some input about the procedures if so what are they.. as far as oxigen is concern ,what about using a portable air pump attached to the side of the boxon the inside with a tubing leading to the inside of the plastic bag <HUH>
I have been looking on many internet sites trying to locate a fish similar to mine so far none,Perhabs i am using the wrong category as i ve stated in my first article ,the fish is an orangy gold with one line of large scales running on both sides of his body from the bottom of the gill plates down to the tail section the rest of the body is smooth no scales at all,I always refer to him as a DOITSU,,,Am i right or not LOL

I don't any from custom you should ask it in the airport how will you ship it down here? to Manila then down to Cebu?

Hello Ramil,

Guess you have a problem regarding the shiping of your koi here in Cebu, if i were you look for someone there in US lets just say a company whos product is koi selling may be they could insert your koi for their shipping, I guess that way you cannot spend so much, unlike if you were just the one shipping it, as i know it take a lot of money from health certificate specialy its a live one and also in shipping.

by the way were in cebu are you maybe i could vesite your place someday...

HUh I am Grant, the one having probs with the koi shipping thanks for yuour reply and suggestions ,i will be flying back to the States in the next two months if every thing goes well hopefully i will bring the fish with me upon my return ,right now i am in the process of installing a 500 gallons aquarium,although most koi owners prefer ponds. ,I live in BANAWA i am also a regular customer of Phatt Tuesday a nice place to relax located in your area <BANILAD.>PLZ keep in touch here is my E-ail add higranthi@yahoo.com

Kois and Ponds here in Manila would be a good starting point. Not sure if they have a Doitsu variety which is what you're looking for, but big koi they'll surely have.

Hi, anyone here knows where to buy those green big pellets around 0.8mm big for the kois? dont exactly know what you call them..we buy them by the pack..hehe thanks!
