Where can I buy Matala filter mats in manila? Can't Post
Where can I buy matala filter mats ( blue ones) in manila?
or should I stick with the japanese filter mats. I know both works well, but anyone can give me some advice.
Also the japanese filter mats are availabe at bio research (and at a lower price) than koi's n pond.

matala vs. jap mats

matala cheaper per cubic inch but floats

jap mats a little bit more expensive but bendable

yes, I have a pond which is 7 months old. 750 gallons. submersible pump power rate of 600 gallons an hour, and a filter box with 3 chambers. Im currently using matala mats and I want to add more since I have more space in my filter box.
now dont ask me about my fish! hahaha its to embarrasing to tell. because when I went to koi's and ponds after my pond was all set to go, they didnt have any koi's that I want ( I only like showa and kohaku, but sanke's are fine) hell I will take anything at this point. But I dont think I can afford the expensive big koi's.
what do you think about our locally bred koi's here?

how many do u need? so i can ask if they have that many
i cut up mine already, but the original i think is 32 mm x 1.2m x 1.2m

by the way, you said u had koi for 7 months? that would make that january right? thats exactly the month i bought my first koi. i started with a 180 gallon pond (with a 900 gph pump) i just fixed up my current pond last june.

koi are like art ... whats nice for someone might be crap to me and vice versa.
