koi club Can't Post

Hello everyone!

I'm also a koi hobbyist and I'm very much interested in your Koi club. I'm a member (or used to be?!) of a Koi club here in Manila but honestly, I don't have the slightest idea if our club still exist. Who do I need to get in touch with to learn more about your club?

i still havent filled up my form. i changed computer and havent had the time to install the printer.
somebody here suggested you use excel for the form, so people can just fill up and send back without the need to print.

thanks

Hi,
Excel is pretty easy to use. It has fields that you can easily fill in. What version do you have?

Here is a sample sheet using excel 2000. Please, when opening click on Data and then Form.

this will then bring up the fields to enter data into

this is based on blue's format

after filling in the details, you should rename the file to your SURNAME NAME

Re: [aragorn] koi club [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks Mike,
I had the same version as yours. However for Hindley's point of view, since he needs to compile all the info and store it somewhere, and he needs multiple sheets in excel to do that. So, you are right...we members can use the form you included to fill in our info, and then Hindley can use my version to compile all the info together using Data -> Form. This will let him input all the records in the database within the excel file.

HI Blue

Thanks, I'll try to get myself hold of that program later in the day. For the mean time we'll just use your form and Mike's.

Hi Hindley,
The form looks good, except that if you use it, you will have multiple sheets containing every member of the club on each sheet.

Also if after opening the file, you click on the "Data" Menu and choose "Form", it will not work.

Try the file I sent you so that for each entry, you have a nice form to fill out and wont have to move around the page so much.

Hello Michael

Dont worry too much bout the prices coz being a members of the club has its advantages, like having discounted price at Kois and PondsCool

Just wondering, are you a priest or something? Coz your email add sounds like oneSly

It really doesnt matter where you kois come from, as long as you are a koi enthusiast you are very much welcome to the club. I dont have those authentic japanese kois my self eitherWink

I'll email you the membership form later in the day.

I still dont know how much Michael would give us, but to think we can have it at a much cheaper price is already a big favor in our part rather than paying the price tag.Sly

Re: [hinz101] koi club [In reply to] Can't Post

hi Hindley

No, I am not a priest or a real preacher Tongue Preacher is one of those DC Vertigo comic book Titles which I loved very much. it had lots of profanity, killing and just massive violence every page you turn. It was my favorite comic
book title at one time. and still is. but the series ended about 2 years ago. I heard they are doing a casting and Ben Afleck is suppose to be " the preacher" guy for the flick. so thats the history of preacher.
As for being a member of this club, I am very greatly happy to stumble in this forum, because if not, I would have no one to share my experince and love for this hobby...its just not the same. So I look forward in meeting all you guys and swap stories and learn from each other.
It sucks to be a newbie and you dont know what to do, wether you did it right on the first itme or not.

Also I wish they would lift the ban on koi importation in the Philippines so koi's and ponds will have kois and I could buy some. I am tired of buying local kois and in a few days I would get tired of looking at it and get rid of it.. hahahaha

more power to you guys
