Legal question (anyone from CA USA) Can't Post

Hi
Does the laws governing swimming pools (specially California law) also cover koi ponds/ponds/fountains on your property in general?
For. ex. swimming pooks must have a self-locking gate(s) on the fence that accessess the pool (for safety ie. liability reasons-in case someone decides to tresspass on your porperty fall in you pool knock himself out and drown).

Thanks.

Probably so, and even if there aren't state regs covering it local building codes may. Your best bet would probably be to ask your insurance agent. That way you don't raise red flags with the local regulators who would probably expect you to wade through red tape just to get a simple yes or no answerMad. (I'm soooooo glad I don't live there any more). Unlike Ca. (where I grew up), in Oklahoma I can actually wipe my own @$$ without an environmental impact studyTongue.
