Hi, I dono if it's ok to move koi this time of year due to them hybernating, but come spring I'm selling a few 14 inchers in my main pond, and am rearing fry from champion sanke indoors and outdoors in a rearing pond. I also have lots of goldfish and some longfin goldfish, and all of those are around 6+ inches. This will be all in spring though when I can feed them for a few weeks before selling to put back on fat that was lost during winter. Probably late spring. I just bought some high quality koi from my friend who's in the show circut, for my main pond so I need to downsize a bit, and sell my domestic koi. The big guys will be around 20$ and the fry in spring will be around 5$ each, and golfish any size around 5$. All are very pretty koi but domestic koi except for the fry that many will be possible show sanke. I'm flexible with price a little. The price of the fry might go up depending on how they develope by mid summer when I will be selling them. Some I will part with spring though. Feel free to email me alison19782004@yahoo.com I live in Lake Stevens a few minutes from Everett. ~Alison If you want higher quality koi you might wanna try Pan intercorp in Kenmore, by Bothell. They are the BEST in the U.S. and a lot of my koi come from them. We are fortunate to have them close by. They are also known as www.koi.com They go to the fall koi harvests in Japan and handselect a lot of their koi. They are around 40$-200$ for a small high quality koi, but worth it. You really should visit them, if you haven't already. They are experts, and you can learn a lot from them. It's fun to go to the show's too. Another cool place is called moorehaven water gardens. You can go there now and look at their cool place. Their in lynwood. they have a website www.moorehaven.com They are in the phone book too I believe under nurseries. They are the most expensive around, but neat to go visit. they don't have as high quality and cheap koi as pan intercorp, but have the 26+ inch koi in huge ponds outside and inside, and they sell pond plants, and cool stuff and they have it all on 5 landscaped acres with tons of huge outdoor amazing ponds. That's a must. Good luck and if you need any help I'm here too. I love to help people new to the hobbie. I'm no expert as I'm still learning too, but I've made a lot of mistakes and learned. ~AlisonSmile

Hi Jeane, It's really hard to determine pricing for that sorta thing, but it all depends on the quality of the fish you have. Like if you just bought from petstores, then you lookin at like $20 for a 12 incher, but if thier high quality ones from a better source, well then your lookin into the hundreds. If you have higher quality koi, you can sell them at pan intercorp, but they take a dividend from that. So what size is your pond? I'm lookin for a uv sterilizer, and stuff like nets, and always lookin for a cool koi. I could come by and give you some advice, not that I'm any expert, but I've learned a lot. I see you have a 206 area code, mine's 425, so your somewhere in seattle? I always like seein other people's ponds and helpin people out, so sure I could come by. My email is alison19782004@yahoo.com I'll try and give ya a call tonight sometime. ~Alison

Hi, try Moorehaven.com or moorehavenwatergardens.com. I dono if they sell
over the internet, but I have seen them there for sale before. Luckily they didn't
cost any more. Any butterfly you get though will cost you more than a regular one
of course. I do know that www.liveaquaria.com does sell them. And they are a good
place, I've ordered fish there before, and recently bought my uv/ bio filter set there and
my water went from pee green to crystal clear in 5 days! Good luck on the hunt.... pondgirl.
