Photo Album : Help

To be able to upload your koi photograph to the server, you will firstly need to have your photograph in digital format. You can have convert a normal photograph to digital format by using a scanner. Alternatively, you may wish to take the shot directly using the digital camera if you have one.

After having the photograph in digital format, you next thing that you need to do is to  reduce the size of the photo to a width of 250 pixels maximum Smaller width of 150 ~ 200 pixels will be ideal. This is to ensure that the photograph file size will not be too big that will affect the downloading time of the web pages. The maximum file size allowed is 35 KB.

To reduce width of the photograph, you will need graphic or imaging software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photo Deluxe which normally come with your digital camera. Just look for image properties and choose image size and reduce them accordingly.

The Koi Photo Album facilities will allow you to post your koi information, upload the koi photo and edit them later. You can even change the koi photo by uploading a new one later. All you need to do is to remember the password that you originally used for the posting.
